PAPER ALIGNMENT MECHANISM AND PAPER PROCESSING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper alignment mechanism that is novel and improved and that can pile up and align pieces of conveyed paper.

SOLUTION: The paper alignment mechanism includes: a plurality of rotating section which have at least one blade changing a moving direction of the pieces of conveyed paper; a rotating shaft which extends toward a perpendicular direction to a conveying direction of the pieces of paper and to which the plurality of rotating section are fixed in the longitudinal direction; and an accumulating section which houses and laminates the pieces of paper whose moving direction are changed by blades of the rotating sections wherein a number of blades of each rotating section fixed to the rotating shaft differs with respect to one another.
