摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rare earth sintered magnet in which magnetic characteristic thereof can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a rare earth sintered magnet, the rare earth sintered magnet including a main phase having R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>T<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B compounds (where R represents one or more rare earth elements, T represents one or more transition metal elements including Fe, or Fe and Co, and B represents B, or B and C) and a grain-boundary phase having a larger amount of R than the R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>T<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B compound, comprises: an adhesion process of heavy rare earth compounds in which a rare earth compound contained solution including the heavy rare earth compounds is adhered onto a surface of the rare earth sintered magnet body including a composition of a R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>T<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B phase; and a heat treatment process for heat treating the rare earth sintered magnet body on which the heavy rare earth compounds are adhered. A squareness ratio Hk/HcJ of the heat treated rare earth sintered magnet body becomes 0.8 or more and less than 1.0 compared to a squareness ratio Hk/HcJ of the heat treated rare earth sintered magnet body obtained in a sintering condition in which the squareness ratio becomes the largest after the heat treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
