<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the elderly or beginners who are unfamiliar with mouse operation to perform operation such as Web search. <P>SOLUTION: A pointing device operation support system 04 performs source analysis of a Web page 03 being displayed to generate a virtual Web page 06 having the same content as the Web page 03 and stores it in a database 05 and a main memory. When a mouse pointer moving on the Web page 03 being displayed is on a hyperlink of the Web page 03, the same hyperlink on the virtual Web page 06 is specified on the basis of detection information on the hyperlink by a browser 02. A mouse pointer position specification function performs synchronization control between a movement position of the mouse pointer on the Web page 03 being displayed and a movement position of the mouse pointer on the virtual Web page 06 by using the hyperlink specified by the hyperlink acquisition function so as to support mouse pointer operation on the Web page 02. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
