TOUCH PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE WITH TOUCH PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in supplying a predetermined voltage to a back face electrode mounted on a back face of a touch panel substrate using an electrode connection part.

SOLUTION: A touch panel includes a touch panel substrate and a flexible circuit board. The touch panel substrate has a detection electrode formed on a front face of the substrate and a back face electrode formed on a back face of the substrate. The flexible circuit board has a terminal part in which plural terminals are formed. The terminal part has a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion. A terminal of the second terminal portion is shorter than a terminal of the first terminal portion. The flexible circuit board is continuous with the second terminal portion and is provided with a back face electrode connection part having a shield terminal at one end on a side opposite to a side with the second terminal portion. The back face electrode connection part is bent on the back face side of the touch panel substrate. The shield terminal is mechanically and electrically connected to the back face electrode of the touch panel substrate.
