<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device that enables a passenger to escape safely and quickly when an emergency occurs at a platform or a train vehicle which arrives/departs at/from the platform. <P>SOLUTION: The platform door device includes: an entrance door; a fixed door pocket which houses the entrance door; an emergency escape door which is positioned adjacent to the fixed door pocket; a first moving means which allows the emergency escape door positioned adjacent to the fixed door pocket to advance along a side surface of the fixed door pocket by an oblique movement; and a second moving means which allows the emergency escape door to cover a surface part of the fixed door pocket and move transversely after finishing an operation by the first moving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
