<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a unit and its peripheral parts by allowing a compact axial arrangement, relating to a saddle type vehicle mounted with a power unit including a twin clutch type transmission which contains a pair of main shafts and a crutch of a separate shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The axial center (first main axial line C3) of a first main shafts 31 is arranged behind the axial center (crank axis line C2) of a crankshaft 21 in front of the axial center (counter axial line C5) of a counter shaft 35.
