<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device capable of coping with mounted situations of various works. <P>SOLUTION: A clamp lift 1 includes a bracket 15 elevatable on a front face of a mast 14. The bracket 15 is provided with a pair of cylinders 17 to be rotatable with respect to a support shaft member 16. A rod 18 is provided advancingly and retractingly in the cylinder 17. A rotary shaft member 19 is provided in a front end of the rod 18, and a rotary member 21 of the gripping device 20 and gripping plates 22 thereof are supported rotatably via the rotary shaft member 19. The paired gripping plates 22 are supported swingably onto the rotary member 21 via a link bar. The rotary shaft member 19 is connected to the rotary member 21 on an upper side of the gravity center position G of the rotary member 21, and the rotary member 21 can thereby keep its posture, even when the cylinder 17 is inclined to any angle. The gripping plate 22 is swung vertically with respect to the rotary member 21 all the time, and consequently the work W can be lifted up upwards simultaneously with the gripping of the work W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
