Provided is a method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information in a wireless communication system. A terminal receives downlink data from a base station through a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled based on a physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH) which is a control channel for a plurality of terminals in a multiple node system, and transmits the uplink control information to the base station through a resource of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) allocated by the base station.
