PURPOSE: A door holder for a ship is provided to easily hold a door with the magnetic coupling of a magnet and a holding device and to easily release the door with the magnetic force of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION: A door holder for a ship comprises a magnet which is installed in a door or a wall(W) and a holding device(200) which is installed in the wall or door to face the magnet and magnetically coupled with the magnet to hold the door opened. The holding device includes a solenoid(210) which is induced with the same polarity as the magnet when supplied with current and release the holding of the door.
