PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus and operation method thereof are provided to connect multilateral calls by enabling an electronic apparatus to participate in an existed communication line using local communication. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) transmits a control signal to a third electronic apparatus using an NFC(Near Field Communication) module while communicating with a second electronic apparatus. The control signal is a request for connecting a second call to a first electronic apparatus or the second electronic apparatus. The control unit provides a multiparty calling service with the second and the third electronic apparatus based on a first call and a second call. The control unit terminates the first call after second call connection is requested.
