PURPOSE: A middle and large size battery pack is provided to prevent ignition or explosion in advance through a power failure when the connection between a sealing element or a connection element and a frame element is disassembled by swelling of a battery module. CONSTITUTION: A middle and large size battery pack(1000) comprises: a frame element; a battery module(200) fixed to the frame element and in which battery cells or unit modules are laminated; a connect element fixed to the flame element and having a coupling structure is disassembled when swelling of the battery module; a battery management system(400) detecting and controlling the operational state of the battery module; and a power switching part(500) disconnecting with an input and output terminals when disconnecting the sealing element and connect element by being connected to the input and output modules of the battery module in the upper part of the connect element.
