PURPOSE: An embroidery machine and a method for calibrating the same are provided to overcome the product quality difference and to obtain embroidery of high quality. CONSTITUTION: An embroidery machine comprises: a storage unit(130) for storing calibration information; an image acquiring device(200) for obtaining an image of a cotton fabric after embroidering; a control unit(110) which performs embroidering work using embroidery data, drives the image acquiring device, and generates calibration information; a X/Y motor driving unit(160) for moving the cotton fabric on X/Y coordinate; and a main axis motor driving unit(150) which drives a needle zonde and performs embroidering.
