<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure packet congestion with a high time resolution. <P>SOLUTION: Inter-packets gap calculation sections 174-1 and 174-2 of an inter-packets gap counting device 170 calculate an inter-packets gap which is a time it takes from when the tail end of the packets passes through a point to when the head of successive packets passes through the point, and counting sections 175-1 and 175-2 count the calculated inter-packets gap for each length of the time interval. In this count result, whether or not a packet congestion occurs is shown based on whether or not packets are transmitted continuously at the minimum interval of inter-packets gap predetermined according to the physical line properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
