PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that it has been impossible to effectively use traffic information in an own-vehicle which accumulates only traffic information of which the effective period has been expired. SOLUTION: Traffic information on a region including a current position of the own-vehicle traffic information of which the effective period is determined is acquired by communication and recorded in a recording medium. Travel statues specified on the basis of the movement of the own-vehicle are acquired. In the case that the traffic information of which the effective period has not been expired is recorded in the recording medium, the traffic information of which the effective period has not been expired is displayed on a display. In the case that the traffic information of which the effective period has not been expired is not recorded in the recording medium and further in the case that conditions indicated by the traffic information recoded in the recording medium are matched with the travel conditions, the traffic information recorded in the recording medium is displayed on the display.
