Implant and method for producing an implant surface

The implant comprises a heterogeneously structured implant surface, which is formed by a layer (2). A randomly distributed knob cluster has protrusion structure, where the layer has sodium titanium oxides forming the knob cluster. The length of the distribution is similar to the maximum length of the diameter, which is between 20 micrometer to 500 micrometer. The distance between adjacent centers of the knob cluster is taken between 25 micrometer to 600 micrometer. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a layer to manufacture a heterogeneously structured implant surface.
