The assembly has a lead frame (10) including longitudinal beams (12, 14) that are interconnected by a cross beam (16). A vehicle bodywork is mounted on the lead frame. A reduction agent tank (18) is centrally arranged between the longitudinal beams to store a reduction agent i.e. aqueous urea solution, for after-treatment of exhaust gas. The tank comprises a holding element i.e. holding tongue (24), partially resting on the cross beam such that the tank is fixed to the cross beam. An installation chamber is provided between supporting elements to accommodate a heating device heating the agent.
