SAFETY SYSTEM FOR A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

The nuclear plant safety system (1) has multiple catalytic recombination elements. Every recombination element releases a recombination reaction with hydrogen guided against a gas flow with oxygen. Two recombination elements of gas-sided connecting runner are formed, such that a pressure pulse actuates a gas removing process with a flow velocity of 5 meter per second in the flow area of an adjacent recombination element.
