<p>The system has busbar (6) that is arranged in side of path (5), such that a vehicle (2) is moved along path. A current collector is located at base frame and is engaged with busbar. An inner arm is mounted pivotally to the base frame at a horizontal pivot axis. The current collector is pivotably connected to outer arm and inner arm through horizontal connecting shaft. A current collector carriage arranged on outer arm is displaced by pivoting the arms transversely to a direction of travel of vehicle from standby position to an engaged position.</p>
