<p>The drainage channel has a U-shaped channel body (1) that is made up of plastic for embedding in a foundation (11). A grating (2) covers an open longitudinal side of the channel body. The channel body is formed from an extruded profile and is fixed to an armature (4) or frame block (3). The armature is provided outside at the channel body and is formed as a bracket. The armature is held in a form or a material fit manner on the channel body. The channel body has an outer bar (12) that is engaged in a corresponding recess of the armature.</p>
