<p>The method involves defibrating wood fibers from timber in a refiner (4). The fibers are spreaded to a pressed fiber mat in a spreader (6) and pressed to a wood fiber board of desired thickness in a hot press (7). The fibers within a conveyor pipe (R) i.e. blowline, are transported in a stream into a gluing zone. The fiber stream of the pipe is slowed-down at the beginning of the zone so that the speed of the stream is reduced before reaching a gluing nozzle. The fibers in the slowed stream are glued using an adhesive by a set of gluing nozzles and supplied to a dryer (5) for drying. An independent claim is also included for a device for wet-gluing of wood fibers.</p> |
