A conveyor (1) for articles which can be used in a cartoning machine or cartoning line, wherein the articles are turned by 90 degrees around an axis of rotation perpendicular to the conveyance plane (P), between an entry section (2) and an exit section (3) of the conveyor, wherein a thrust cam (10) is positioned between said entry section and said exit section and said cam is synchronised with the advancement of the articles to impart an impulse to the articles in transit and impart at least in part the 90 degrees turning.
