PURPOSE: A composition for diagnosing disability of hardness recognition, a kit and an information providing method for diagnosing disabilities of hardness recognition are provided to distinguish patients having diagnosing disabilities of hardness recognition. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosing disability of hardness recognition includes a formulation which measures mRNA or protein levels of a lipocalin 2 gene. The formulation measuring the protein level uses a specific antibody for the lipocalin 2. A formulation which measures the mRNA level is primer pair or probe which is specific for the lipocalin 2 gene. A kit for diagnosing disabilities of hardness recognition includes the composition for diagnosing the disabilities of hardness recognition. The diagnostic kit is for distinguishing the Alzheimer patient from the disability of hardness recognition. The information providing method for diagnosing disability of hardness recognition includes the following steps: measuring the level of the lipocalin 2 protein among humoral samples; and checking the increase of the lipocalin 2 proteins by comparing with a normal control group.
