The steering cross beam arrangement (1) comprises a steering cross beam (2) and a flange element (3) which is fixed with the steering cross beam. The steering cross beam is biased and/or twisted at the flange element in a predetermined direction. The flange element is arranged at a tunnel portion (4) of motor vehicle. A support unit (5) is provided with support struts (6,7) which are extended in the direction of tunnel portion and screwed with the flange element. An independent claim is included for method for increasing frequency of steering cross beam.
