<p>A method and apparatus for controlling the display of a liquid crystal display are provided. The method comprises: receiving an image to be displayed (101); acquiring a COM clock to be used as a sampling signal to refresh a liquid crystal display (102); synchronizing a control clock of a backlight of the liquid crystal display according to the sampling signal so as to control the duty ratio of the backlight of the liquid crystal display to enable the liquid crystal display to display the image (103). By way of the present invention, the display effects of the mobile phone LCD outside screen are improved, and user experience is improved as well.</p> |
