The method involves providing multiple support elements (21 to 26) of a complete support structure (20) of a cover (1), where the support elements are preassembled glue-free for the formation of the complete support structure. The support structure is bonded with an outer skin (10) of the cover, where an adhesive layer is applied on the inner side (11) of the outer skin of the cover for bonding with the support structure. A contact surface of the support structure and the inner side is formed by the elongated plates (24a to 26a) partially deviated by the support.
