LEACHATE LEAKAGE DETECTING SYSTEM WITH HIGH SENSITIVITY FOR LANDFILL SITE

PURPOSE: A highly sensitive leachate leakage sensor for a waste landfill site is provided to conserve installation costs and times by using temperature changes according to the leakage of leachate. CONSTITUTION: A highly sensitive leachate leakage sensor for a waste landfill site includes an optical fiber cable(30), an optical fiber sensor, and a heating pack(40). The optical fiber cable is embedded under a water preventive film. The optical fiber sensor is reactive to temperature changes by being connected to the optical fiber cable. The heating pack is composed of a packaging body and a heating body. The packaging body includes an internal space part, and external moisture permeates into the packaging body. The heating body is arranged in the internal space part and emits heat by the reaction with moisture. The optical fiber sensor causes the temperature changes.
