The cage (100) has a flexible and tubular hollow body (120) for receiving a rolling body (110) in the inner side. The hollow body extends along a central extension line extending into the inner side. The hollow body has multiple pairs of openings (130) arranged perpendicular to the extension line. The pairs of openings are arranged in a surface of the hollow body. The openings are formed such that the rolling bodies partially penetrate the openings. An independent claim is included for a method for providing a cage for receiving rolling bodies of a linear bearing.
