A particularly economical securing method, which at the same time displays high operational safety, for horizontal and inclined workings in underground mining and tunnel construction provides for one or more bolts to be drilled out, inserted and positioned in a defined operation and scheme from the already supported and secured roadway area by means of a projecting carriage without requiring further manual intervention. Subsequently, the roof bolt heads from the area fully secured with bolts are provided in series or round for round with a flexible lagging and fixed there with auxiliary elements, so that the lagging already abuts tight against the rock and prevents relatively small rock fragments from falling down. Only subsequently are the lagging holding and crown plates applied and provided with fastening and clamping elements. |
