<p>Treating a printing material printed with ink comprises exposing the printing material to a laser radiation and absorbing the laser radiation at least partially by tris-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q1) and/or tetrakis-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q2), which have absorption maximum for the laser radiation in a wavelength of greater than 800 nm.
