摘要 <p>Treating a printing material printed with ink comprises exposing the printing material to a laser radiation and absorbing the laser radiation at least partially by tris-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q1) and/or tetrakis-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q2), which have absorption maximum for the laser radiation in a wavelength of greater than 800 nm. Treating a printing material printed with ink comprises exposing the printing material to a laser radiation and absorbing the laser radiation at least partially by tris-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q1) of formula (IA) or (IIA), and/or tetrakis-aryl-immonium absorber compounds (Q2) of formula (IB) or (IIB), which have absorption maximum for the laser radiation in a wavelength of greater than 800 nm. R1-R8 : alkyl, cycloalkyl, arylalkyl, (alkoxy)aryl or heterocyclyl (all optionally substituted with one or more substituents) or H; and X ->anion. Independent claims are included for: (1) an additive for ink designed for treating with laser radiation, comprising (Q1) and/or (Q2); and (2) the ink designed for treating with laser radiation, comprising the additive.
