The device (100) has a circuit board (110) provided with a component region (116). A contact region (112) is arranged in an edge section of the circuit board and provided with a set of electric contacts (114) e.g. connection pads, plug contacts and connector sockets, for attaching a plug, sensors and a valve. The component region of the circuit board is arranged within a housing (120), and the contact region of the circuit board is arranged outside the housing. The electric contacts form contact devices for attaching electric lines that are turned towards the plug, the sensors and the valve. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a connection system for producing an electrical interconnection between a control device for a gear box of a vehicle and a transmission control element (2) a method for connecting a control device for a gear box of a vehicle and a transmission control element.
