<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device or the like capable of providing information that a user desires even without an input of an appropriate keyword. <P>SOLUTION: In the information providing device 10 for providing information in response to a request from a user terminal, an image dictionary creating device 20 has a content obtaining part for receiving animation information showing animation composed of a plurality of overall images (frames), a partial image obtaining part for extracting partial images that constitute the overall images, a feature imparting part for creating feature information by analyzing features of the partial images, and an image search database for storing in association the feature information, motion vectors, and links to the animation information that correspond to the partial images. A motion information imparting device 60 has a motion extracting part for extracting motion vectors as motions of the partial images in the overall images, and a motion evaluating part for determining time-based positions of the overall images in the entire animation including the partial images, and determining a time during which the partial images exist in succession in the animation according to the motion vectors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
