CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing peptic ulcer contains Dioscoreae Rhizoma powder, pellet, juice, or extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using alcohol or a mixture of alcohol and water. A drug and functional food for preventing peptic ulcer contains the composition. The functional food is manufactured in the form of a liquid formulation, candy, gum, paste formulation, and snack. An inhibitor and functional food for suppressing gastric secretion contains the composition.
