<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety and convenience of a charger device for charging an electronic apparatus while reducing current consumption by not actuating the charger device without performing any operation when a charging object electronic apparatus is not set in the charger device. <P>SOLUTION: The charger device 10 comprises: an apparatus mounting surface 11; a means 12 for detecting an object thereon; a circuit 14 for transmitting a recognition transmission signal to that object when it is detected; a circuit 15 for judging presence of an electronic apparatus on the apparatus mounting surface based on a check transmission signal from the electronic apparatus on the apparatus mounting surface; and a primary control circuit 16 for controlling the whole charger device. On the other hand, the electronic apparatus comprises: a check reception circuit 23 for receiving the recognition transmission signal when it is received from the charger device; a circuit 24 for transmitting a check transmission signal to the charger device upon receiving the recognition transmission signal; and a secondary control circuit 25 for controlling the whole electronic apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
