A sleeve holder 404 is used for mounting a cutting tool 400 into a holder block. The sleeve holder has two grooves 420,444 longitudinally spaced apart on the inner surface 416 of a bore (408, Fig 4A) through the sleeve. The first groove 420 is positioned for cooperation with a bumped retainer 414 on the cutting tool 400, which has a shoulder 310 at an interface between first and second cutting ends, each with a cutting tip 424 at its distal end, and retainer 414 positioned in a recess in the body portion. The sleeve is universal because it has a second groove 444 which is positioned for cooperation with a conventional single ended cutting tool. |
