Incubator (10) comprises a housing (12) with a heatable chamber (14) comprising a bottom wall (16), a rear wall (18) and an access opening opposing the rear wall, through which is transparent for daylight in at least a partial area, which is closable by a door or flap, and suppressible sample vessels, which are disposed on the rear wall in front, in the bottom wall or under rear wall and extends along the rear wall or transparent at bottom wall for extending light source for illumination of the chamber with the daylight.
