The invention relates to a method and installation (1) for harvesting shellfish that have been caught on a sheet-like substrate (6), such as a net. The substrate is fed in a longitudinal direction past harvesting members (19) that free shellfish clinging to the substrate from the substrate. The method and installation according to the invention provide for tensioning of the substrate at the harvesting members in the transverse direction of the substrate. The method and installation according to the invention furthermore provide for driving of the substrate at the harvesting members, at the bottom and the top, by means of transport means (20) in order to ensure a uniform feed past the transport members. |
