<p>PREFABRICATED, FLOORLESS, SELF-SUPPORTING MODULAR UNITThe invention relates to a prefabricated, floorless, self supporting modular unit (1), e.g. a cabin. The modular unit includes a supporting frame, to which at least a majority of the walls (2) of the modular unit are fastened and which defines the primary shape of the modular unit (1). Thesupporting frame includes a number of elongated support members (3), on top of which the walls (2) are fastened and by means of which the modular unit (1) is attached to its floor base (5a, 5b). In order to provide for a variety of rapid fastening methods, the support members (3) are designed sothat their wall located inside the modular unit (1) comprises a bevel or a recess (3a) for fastening means.Figure 1</p> |
