PURPOSE: A CdS/CdTe thin film solar cell from which a pin hole is removed and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove a pin hole for re-coupling carriers generated inside a solar cell and to increase a photo-converter of a solar cell by removing the pin hole. CONSTITUTION: A transparent conductive oxide film is evaporated on a substrate. A CdS(Cadmium Sulfide) thin film is evaporated on the transparent conductive oxide film. A CdTe(Cadmium Telluride) thin film is evaporated on the CdS thin film. A second CdTe thin film is formed in a pin hole. [Reference numerals] (AA) Pin hole
