Compounds of formula (I)wherein Ais -COOH, or tetrazolyl; Ais hydrogen; Ais phenyl optionally substituted with R; Ris hydrogen or C-Calkyl; Ris hydrogen, -F or -Cl; Rand Rare independently hydrogen, C-Calkyl or C-Ccycloalkyl; Ris hydrogen, C-Calkyl or C-Ccycloalkyl fully or partially fluorinated C-Calkyl; Ris (i) -CH-, -CHOH-, or (ii) C(R)(R)-*, -C(R)(R)-O-*, wherein the bond indicated by an asterisk is attached to the pyrazole ring; Ris a divalent radical of formula -Q-[A]; Ais a phenyl or pyridinyl ring optionally having one or more substituent selected from -F, -Cl, -Br, -CN, -CF, C-Calkyl, C-Ccycloalkyl, -OR, oxo or -NRR; v is 1; Qis C(R)(R)-, C(R)(R)CH-; Ris hydrogen and Ris C-Calkyl or Rand Rare both C-Calkyl; or Rand Rtaken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a cyclopropyl ring; suppress the normal signalling activity CB1 receptors, and are thus useful in the treatment of diseases or conditions which are mediated by CB1 receptor signalling activity, such as treatment of obesity and overweight, prevention of weigh gain, treatment of diseases and conditions directly or indirectly associated with obesity and overweight. |
