PURPOSE: A stator resistance estimating method of a motor is provided to enhance estimation accuracy of stator resistance. CONSTITUTION: A first magnetic flux current is applied to a motor control device and a first command voltage is saved(S11). The first command voltage is command voltage which makes a difference of first command current and actual current with 0. A stator resistance estimated value for the first magnetic flux current is calculated(S12). Integral multiple of the first magnetic flux current is applied and command voltage at the time is saved(S13). A stator resistance estimated value for a second magnetic flux current is calculated(S14). Stator resistance is estimated using a first resistance estimated value, a second resistance estimated value, the first magnetic flux current, or the second magnetic flux current(S15).
