PURPOSE: A variable nozzle device for a turbocharger is provided to effectively control the velocity of exhaust gas flowing into a turbine as a driven vane rotating according to the rotation angle of a vane is installed. CONSTITUTION: A variable nozzle device for a turbocharger comprises a nozzle ring(20), a main vane(130), a sub vane(140), and a rotary unit. The nozzle ring is coupled to a housing, and a turbine wheel is placed in the center of the housing. The main vane comprises a rotary shaft which is rotationally coupled to the nozzle ring. The sub vane is comprises a driven shaft which is pivotally coupled to the nozzle ring. The rotary unit rotates the rotary shaft. The driven shaft is coupled to a turbine wheel(2) more adjacently than the rotary shaft.
