The driver has two sub-circuits (316, 328), each one having a signal path sending a signal and coupled to an input (340, 342) of a gate control signal generator (338). The latter path provides the signal with a reduced delay. The generator provides a gate control signal to a semiconductor switch and is provided proximate the driver`s high side. A comparator provided proximate a low side receives the signals from the high side. An independent claim is also included for a power module having a high side device and a low side device. |
