The invention relates to the construction industry and the industry for producing waterproofing coatings in general and specifically to the industry involved in the formulation, development and production of waterproofing elements for roofs and different construction substrates. More particularly, the invention refers to a water-base acrylic waterproofing composition applied in a single step; which is characterised in that it comprises a water-base resin, a water softener, an antifoaming agent, an anti-clotting agent, a moisturizer, a dispersant, dyes, loads, a coalescent, a bactericide, a pH regulator, a lightener, a thickener and water.
