PURPOSE: An open-type mold for expanded polypropylene(EPP) products is provided to smoothly supply steam into thick products over 200mm because a steam supply pipe is protruded to the inside of a cavity. CONSTITUTION: An open-type mold(1) for EPP products comprises an upper die(2), a lower die(3), a steam supply pipe(7), and a variable mold(4). The steam supply pipe is formed in an upper inner die(22) and a lower inner die(32) of the upper die and the lower die and is protruded toward a cavity(5). The steam supply pipe has a stem supply hole(71) for supplying steam to the cavity. The variable mold is installed in the edge of the lower inner die and comprises an upward open-type chamber(41), a spring(42), and a guide pin(43). The upward open-type chamber is formed in the outside of lower inner die. The variable mold is elastically supported in a chamber by a spring. Protrusion portions(44) of the guide pin are latched to the outside of the chamber and the guide pin is assembled on the bottom of the variable mold so that the variable mold can be operated without separation.
