DIRECT TYPE BACKLIGHT UNIT

PURPOSE: A direct type backlight unit is provided to mount an LED(Light Emitting Diode) light source on an inclined internal surface of a mounting block and place a prism sheet on the mounting block. CONSTITUTION: Grooves are formed on mounting blocks(120) respectively. The tops of the grooves are opened. The internal surfaces of the grooves are inclined. An LED light source is mounted on the internal surfaces of the grooves. A rear plate(130) is arranged in lower parts of the mounting blocks. The mounting blocks are formed on an upper surface of the rear plate.
