PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner with a wheel assembly is provided to obtain a compact main body by arranging a drive motor on the exterior of the main body. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a wheel assembly(100) arranged in a main body. The wheel assembly comprises a drive motor(130) generating a driving force, a driving gear provided at the rotary shaft of the drive motor, a transmission gear which is connected to the driving gear and transmits the driving force of the drive motor, and a driving wheel(110) arranged to make a rotary shaft thereof rotate in a different direction from the rotary shaft of the drive motor.
