PURPOSE: A sterilizing filter packing for a drinking water container is provided to maintain the stable installation posture of a sterilizing filter regardless of the dimension error of an inlet of the drinking water container. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizing filter for a drinking water container(1) includes a filter case(10) and a cap member(20). The filter case is mounted at the inlet of a drinking water container and receives a filtering member. A plurality of water inlets(11) is formed at the lateral side of the filtering case. The cap member is connected with the opening of the filtering case to prevent the filtering member from being escaped. Holes are formed at the cap member such that sterilized drinking water penetrates through the holes. A pacing member(30) is further included in the sterilizing filter and is assembled with the outer part of the cap member.
