PURPOSE: A monitor system using an IP camera is provided to drive the IP camera without a separate wiring work for a power line by using one LAN line as a power line for installation of the IP camera and an image signal transmission network. CONSTITUTION: A monitor system comprises an LAN(Local Area Network) line(70) and a plurality of IP cameras(80a-80n). A terminal unit comprises a PoE(Power over Ethernet) module and an SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply). The PoE module supplies power and data to the plurality of IP cameras at the same time. The SMPS supports the PoE module. The LAN line serially connects the terminal unit to the plurality of IP cameras and supplies the power between the terminal unit and the IP camera, and between the IP cameras at the same time.
