PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an application managing system using the same are provided to receive updated information which a mobile communication provider provides from a server, thereby downloading applications of an updated version. CONSTITUTION: An identifying module(1120) stores identifying information. A displaying unit(1140) displays an application list provided by a provider corresponding to the identifying information. When selection for one or more items of the application list is recognized, a controlling unit(1130) generates a download request signal. A communicating unit(1110) transmits the download request signal to a relay server. The communicating unit downloads an application corresponding to the selected item from the relay server.
