FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for elimination of local irregularities of rail lengthwise and crosswise profiles including those in the zone of rail-and-sleeper welded joints by form milling. Milling head comprises driven mill and is fitted on cylindrical guide to displace there along and turn there about. Mill drives are equipped with mill travel transducers and pickups to signal that mill gets in contact with machined surfaces coupled with transducers measuring machined surface profile changes and control system. Milling head is mounted on cylindrical guide to turn in plate parallel with mill axis with the help of extra drive with mill turn transducer coupled with measurement control system and machining control system. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency, expanded performances. ^ 2 dwg |
